There is no form and no email address on this site. Everything happens on the phone, which is faster for both of us and means nothing sits in an inbox over a weekend while your house gets warm.
What to have ready
None of this is required, and we would rather you called without it than not called. It just shortens the conversation.
- Whether it is a house or a business premises
- Roughly how old the system is, if you know — the data plate on the outdoor unit has the year
- What it is doing: not cooling, cooling weakly, cycling on and off, making a noise, leaking water, tripping a breaker
- When it started, and whether anything happened first — a storm, a power cut, a filter change
- Whether the equipment has ever been in water, which changes the answer more than anything else on this list
What we will tell you straight away
If it is something you can check yourself in two minutes — a tripped float switch, a blocked filter, a breaker, a thermostat set to the wrong mode — we will walk you through it on the phone rather than book a visit. If it belongs to a different trade, we will say which one. And if we cannot get to you quickly enough to be useful, we will say that too, rather than let you wait on a maybe.
Not our work
Drainage, grading, sump and lift pumps, flood barriers, foundation work, water treatment, plumbing, gas supply beyond the appliance connection, electrical work upstream of the equipment disconnect, mould remediation, grease duct cleaning, and anything to do with flood zone determinations or elevation certificates. We will name the right trade rather than attempt it.
